In partnership with Globe Creative, Orient produced the world’s first ‘invisible’ dinosaur exhibition: no bones; no fossils; only a pure immersive augmented reality (AR) experience to reveal new discoveries and groundbreaking insights into the life and behaviour of the Tyrannosaurus rex, the king of the carnivorous dinosaurs. We chose this dynamic and detailed medium of AR, instead of a physical, static replica, to allow us to flesh out the character and narrative of this powerful predator. This is a modern interpretation of the story of this tyrant lizard. A new exhibition for a new age, currently touring China and due in Hong Kong at the end of 2016, when it will have been seen by 3 million people, before moving on to Macau, South East Asia and the Middle East.
