As part of the luxury retail company’s 160th anniversary celebrations, Orient Unlimited brought a little bit of le gai Paris to Lane Crawford Seasons Place Beijing. What started as three branded pop-up spaces inspired by the majestic Palais-Royal district in Paris, rapidly expanded to over 30 petites maisons throughout the store, with regal window displays and a magnificent fashion gala event to launch them. Using the chic black and white photography of Palais-Royal that Lane Crawford commissioned, Orient transformed 2D imagery into 3D hubs, using metal, smoked glass and optical illusion techniques to transport customers into the epicentre of Parisian architecture, ateliers and high-class culture.
