YOUTUBE LAUNCH EXHIBITION, HONG KONG

To celebrate the launch of the Chinese language version of YouTube, Google commissioned Orient to produce an exhibition in Times Square, Hong Kong. Consisting of a scaffold structure with a mixture of suspended LCD screens, printed gauze and PVC banners, internal booths allowed users to create and upload their own videos directly to the LCD screens on the outside. The exhibition also included a wall constructed of coloured PVC tubes, from which visitors could help themselves to free branded T-shirts.
